This painting completes the series. An airy, graphic fantasy on the theme of boundless expanses and easy roads. Thin ink lines outline the curves of hills and a secluded country house, above which three colorful balloons soar into a serene sky. Yellow, red, and blue sound like notes in a chord on a clean sheet of paper. This graphic work gives an amazing feeling of flight, spaciousness, and childlike faith in miracles, filling the space with light and lightness.
This work was meticulously drawn with steel nib pen and archival ink.
